Track how your published project is performing with real-time insights. See key stats like visitors, page views, visit duration, and bounce rate. You can also discover where visitors are coming from, which devices they’re using, and which pages they’re viewing. Analytics is built into Lovable and starts collecting automatically when you publish your project, with nothing to set up. Use it to check whether a launch, a social post, or a newsletter is bringing people to your app. Open the Analytics view from More → Analytics in the project toolbar at the top of the editor.
Analytics only collects data while your project is published. Tracking is on by default. To turn it off, use the Visitor analytics setting in project settings.

Time periods

By default, analytics data is shown for the last 7 days. You can change the time period using the dropdown at the top of the Analytics view. The available options are:
  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • Last 24 hours
  • Last 7 days (default)
  • Last 14 days
  • Last 30 days
  • Last 90 days
  • This month

Metrics

The main chart shows one metric at a time. Select a metric above the chart to see how it changed over the selected time period:
  • Visitors: how many people visited your app.
  • Page views: how many pages those visitors viewed in total.
  • Views per visit: how many pages the average visitor viewed.
  • Visit duration: how long the average visit lasted.
  • Bounce rate: the percentage of visitors who left after viewing only one page.
Next to the time period dropdown, a current visitors counter shows how many people have been active on your app in the last 5 minutes.

Breakdowns

Below the main chart, four lists break down your traffic for the selected time period:
  • Source: where your visitors came from, such as a link on another site or a search engine. Visits with no source to report (for example, someone typed your URL or opened a bookmark) show as Direct.
  • Page: the most viewed pages in your app.
  • Device: which device types your visitors use, shown as percentages (Desktop, Mobile, or Tablet).
  • Country: the countries your visitors are from, based on each visitor’s browser time zone.
Project analytics shows which sites visitors came from, but it does not read UTM parameters, the tracking tags some links carry (like ?utm_source=newsletter). Tagged links count toward their source site, not toward separate campaigns. For campaign or funnel reporting, connect a dedicated analytics tool such as PostHog.

Turn tracking on or off

Visitor tracking is on by default. To turn it off, open Project settings → General → Publishing and switch off Visitor analytics. Lovable stops collecting visitor data, and the Analytics view shows an Enable Analytics button you can use to turn tracking back on.

Privacy

Analytics measures overall traffic, not individual people. Lovable does not build profiles of your visitors or follow them across separate visits.
