This page is about the invite link that brings new people to Lovable, where you earn credits when they subscribe. Looking for a way to give someone access to one of your projects? See Share a project. Looking for a way to add someone to your workspace? See Invite members. The three are different features.
What you earn
The person you invite gets 10 bonus credits when they sign up. You start earning with their first payment, and Lovable gives you more as they keep paying, up to 400 bonus credits for each person:
With monthly billing, you reach 400 after 13 payments: 100 for the first, then 25 for each of the next 12. With annual billing, you get the full 400 from their first payment, or the rest of it if they switch from monthly to annual later.
If a payment fails and they pay it later, you get the credits for it then.
Which plans count for referral credits
What you earn depends on the plan the person you invite pays for, not on yours. Their plan has to include at least 100 credits a month. The Pro and Business plans start at 100 credits a month, but some discounted plans include fewer. Check the number of credits rather than the plan name. After that first payment, Lovable checks their plan each time they pay. If they later move to a plan with fewer than 100 credits a month, your monthly 25 bonus credits stop.Share your invite link
Each workspace has its own invite link, and anyone in the workspace can share it. Lovable adds every reward to your workspace’s credit balance, which everyone in the workspace shares.
- In the dashboard sidebar, select the Share Lovable card. The invite dialog opens with the link for the workspace you are in.
- Copy the link, or share it to WhatsApp, X, LinkedIn, or email. You can also show a QR code for someone to scan from your screen.

Track your referrals
When at least one person has joined through your link, the invite dialog shows how many people joined and how many subscribed. The subscribed number includes only people who have earned you credits. Someone who subscribed on a plan that does not count still shows as joined. If someone joined but is not counted as subscribed, one of these applies:- They have not subscribed yet.
- They pay for a plan that does not count.
- Lovable detected suspicious activity, such as a possible duplicate account.
How referral credits work
Referral credits are bonus credits, part of general credits. Like monthly plan credits, they can be used for building an app, for hosting it and running its built-in backend, and for AI features in deployed apps. You can see them as Bonus credits in your credit balance. Each reward expires 12 months after Lovable grants it, so use your credits as you get them rather than saving them up.Rules and limits
These rules apply to every referral:- The person you invite has to be new to Lovable and sign up through your invite link. Lovable records the referral at signup, so adding them to your workspace later does not count. Each person can use only one invite link.
- You and other members of your workspace do not count as referrals.
- Up to 100 people can join through your workspace’s link. After that, new signups through it no longer count.
- On Free workspaces, up to 5 signups a day count, and on Pro workspaces, up to 15. Business workspaces have no daily limit. Signups over the limit do not count. If you are inviting many people, send the link to a few at a time over several days.
- Referrals do not count when either email address contains a plus sign, such as
name+tag@example.com, or comes from a temporary email service. Check your own address before you share your link. - Lovable does not grant rewards when it detects suspicious activity, such as duplicate accounts.
- If a payment is fully refunded, Lovable removes the credits you got for it, and you cannot earn them back.
Troubleshooting
The person I invited subscribed, but I have no credits
The person I invited subscribed, but I have no credits
Check these in order:
- Their plan. You earn credits only if their first paid plan includes at least 100 credits a month and their first month was not free. See Which plans count for referral credits.
- Their payment. Lovable grants your credits when their payment goes through, so ask them whether it did.
- Suspicious activity. If their plan and payment are both fine, Lovable may have detected suspicious activity, such as a duplicate account. Contact Lovable support with your invite link and the date they signed up.
The person I invited does not appear in my counts at all
The person I invited does not appear in my counts at all
Lovable did not record them as your referral. The usual causes are:
- They signed up without your invite link.
- They signed up on a day when your workspace had already reached its daily limit.
- Your email address or theirs is disposable or contains a plus sign.
